A companion piece to 2019’s full-length release, “Trust In The Lifeforce Of The Deep Mystery,” this punchy EP by London-based trio The Comet Is Coming packs in enough glowering cosmic energy to power a small space craft. The usual hypnotic sax riffs and cavernous sci-fi synths are present but, this time, the rhythms are tackled at a more meditative pace, creating an expansive and immersive trip for armchair psychonauts.
